60 Years of Experience

Embassy Press was founded in 1949 by William Hatton and his son Stan. In 1956 the company moved into its current site in Battersea Park Road where it expanded to occupy three shop fronts together with the land behind.

In 1975 Stan's brother Ernie joined the company and opened a second site in Uckfield, East Sussex and in 1978 this moved to Crowborough from where it operates today. In 1991 the site in London was totally rebuilt as a purpose built printing factory.

As would be expected from a business that has prospered and grown over a sixty year period. Investment and innovation has been the core of our success, from importing the first Heidelberg litho press in 1962 to the recent delivery of our process-less Screen plate setter and B2 5 unit Mitsubishi press.

Embassy Press strives to invest in the best machinery available in order to provide our customers with top quality print, fast turnarounds at economical prices.

The Company is now run by two of the founder’s family along with two additional directors. Together they work to provide the same great quality and service that has been the cornerstone of the business for over half a century.

"Forward looking investment, long serving staff and excellent relationships with our customers have enabled Embassy Press to provide 60 years of printing excellence in London, Sussex and beyond."
